I enjoyed my time at Regent. I started out on campus in VA Beach, but due to finances I moved back to Richmond and became an online student. I actually did not see much of a difference between the online and on campus programs except that on campus you go to your class once a week for two hours. The course work is very self disciplined, you have to be a driven student and want to attain the knowledge being offered. A lot of the work is left up to the student, the student needs to be prepared for class bringing their own ideas and outside research, which prepared you for careers and experiences outside of college. The campus is beautiful, but the surrounding city is not the best. There are still plenty of things to do, but the campus life aspect of Regent needs to be improved. The library is a great resource for students, the people that work there are extremely helpful, and they also offer interlibrary loan, which is great. The undergraduate program is very new and is still growing; however, I enjoyed the education I received immensely.
