Rhode Island College is a great school if you don't care about aesthetics. While some areas are renovated, most of the campus needs some serious work. That shouldn't matter though as it's all about the academics! There is always going to be one or two professors per semester that seem unfair or condescending, but most are passionate about the subject they teach. The college atmosphere is here, just on a smaller scale. RIC works for me because I don't want to graduate with mountains of debt, and because it's closer to where I live (as opposed to URI). I plan on going out of state for graduate school, but if you live in RI you should really take advantage of the low cost and great value!
