If you are thinking of coming to LSU for a French Degree, remember, only a couple faculty actually speak French fluently and have really experienced the culture. Don't expect any course offerings other than French literature. Furthermore, even upper-level classes seem to be taught mostly in English, which is regrettable for a French Degree
