Major: School of Information (This Major's Salary over time)
I feel like I've been at MC forever, but I guess I've only truly been there about 2.5 years. While I've been here, I've had some really great professors and met some nice people along the way. Like another student said, MC is a stepping stone to bigger and better things. One of my issues with MC was that I was told by the guidance department that if you have over 30 credits and above a 3.0 GPA, you're automatically accepted into UMCP. With 57 credits and a 3.1 GPA, I was denied admission into UMCP, so I was forced to stay another semester at MC.Another downside to this school is that it really does feel like a continuation of high school, which for me isn't something I enjoy. Regardless, it served its purpose and I saved a lot of money taking the courses here as opposed to a four year university. I recommend Montgomery College to anyone that wants to save money on the first two years while still getting a quality education.
