Major: Fine Arts - Painting/Sculpture/Photography/etc (This Major's Salary over time)
I was really driven and wanted to do something with my artistic abilities. So I took the advise of others and tried to do the best with the college that I could afford. That was Southern Connecticut State University. I decided to focus on graphic design. It appeared that it would have been a good place to go. However, I was wrong. The Professors were totally disconnected from the real world, they did not seem to be genuinely concerned about my success in life, and they gave little or no guidance to prepare me for the real world. If you are planning to go to Southern Connecticut State University to study graphic design, this is a WARNING, DO NOT GO, YOU WILL BE WASTING YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!!! Also, it had more of a community college atmosphere than a four-year college. This leaves limited natural possibilities for social interactions outside of joining fraternities, sororities, and clubs. Please research what the quality of the art and computer facilities are, what the quality of your internship will be like, and the success rates of graduates who find jobs in their chosen field. I am referring to those who have who their Master?s or BS degree of course. SCSU absolutely suck in these areas when it comes to graphic design. Once again DO NOT GO to Southern Connecticut State University for graphic design, YOU WILL BE WASTING YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!!!
