As with everything else in this world words are very misleading and common sense things don't necessarily make any sense at all. It is all about accreditation people. I can't believe that as smart as I thought I was I made the mistake of going to a nationally accredited school. I thought that it was better than a regionally accredited school just by the mere name. However, when it comes to accreditation, regional is better than national! Look it up for yourself and you'll painfully learn as I did that if you want to be able to transfer between schools and work towards a Masters degree at any school of your choice, regional is the way to go. With national you are stuck with that school and the degree you got most probably won't be accepted at another school in working towards another degree. YOU HAVE TO START ALL OVER AGAIN!!! With that said, AiFL SUCKS!!! I have a 3.9 GPA and have been a tutor there and still thinks it SUCKS!!! Why? Because I have struggled for every grade I got while most students slack off and destroy the quality of the education for the rest of us.

Most teachers may be experts in their fields but they CAN'T TEACH!!! Just because you can do, doesn't mean you can teach. And the broken English with the heavy accents to teach something that I have never even heard of before!!! REALLY?!?!?! I can deal with that in an everyday conversation because I can figure out what someone is trying to tell me. Also I don't begrudge anyone for having an accent. However, not when you are teaching me something I have no point of reference for!!! How can I learn the technical jargon if you can't pronounce the words right. How do I take notes? How do I do research? And you can't even spell it on the board for me?!?!?!

Not the least of which they just switched teachers on me after week 5 of an 11 week course and we just had to lose another class to Veterans day 2009. And the new teacher wants to change the course curriculum to what he knows how to teach which has nothing to do with my major!!! And all he knows how to teach is that he has over 15 years of experience in his field…blah, blah, blah…every sentence starts with the same intro…WHO CARES!!!

Every quarter gets worse and I just took out a personal loan to be able to continue!!! When I finish paying back all the loans I would have paid over $150,000 for a two year bullshit degree that I can't use at any other school to work towards my Masters degree.

AiFL IS A SCAM!!! RUN FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS SCHOOL AND DON'T BELIEVE THE SALES PEOPLE…THEY WILL TELL YOU ANYTHING TO GET YOU IN!!!

They told me that I had a flexible schedule to get my degree and that's a 100% lie. While they do offer evening, weekend and online classes. Those classes aren't always available when you need then and some aren't even taught every quarter. Which means that you have to wait for the class to be offered until you can take it which holds up your graduation date!!! Other classes can only be taken during the daytime…UMMMMMM how am I supposed to work and support myslef?!?!? They told me the school was geared towards working adults…HOW?!?!? And all the high school brats that live off of mom and dad and don't give a rats ass if they pass or fail so they spend all the time during class on Facebook, texting and believe it or not, TALKING ON THE PHONE DURING A CLASS!!!

I am disgusted!!!
