Major: History/Histories (art history/etc.) (This Major's Salary over time)
After nearly three years at Stony Brook, I can not understand how they achieved the reputation that they have. The faculty either do not speak English, are too "important" to help students, preach their own opinions to classes rather than facts and are very UN-appreciative of students raising questions that challenge lectures or offer differing opinions than there own. Of the 25-30 instructors I have had, I can honestly say that 5 or 6 did NOT fit this description.
