Valparaiso University sucks. I transferred to a state university after one year at Valparaiso, and the difference was phenomenal. Valparaiso's administration tries to pass the school off as a small, cultured, cutting edge, liberal arts college. In actuality, however, it is a dull, lifeless school that provides little to no challenge for someone hoping to learn, and completely fails to provide an atmosphere where someone can have fun. If you're looking for a boring, cookie-cutter college experience without any intellectual stimulation and having lots of friends who lack personality of any kind, Valparaiso is your place.
