PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DONT GO HERE IM TRYING TO HELP YOU SAVE YOUR MONEY SOOOOOO MANY KIDS TRANSFER OUT BECAUSE THE STUDENTS ARE ALL SOOOOOO RUDE, ARROGANT, AND SELF ABSORBED , THEY EVEN IGNORE YOU BECAUSE THEY THINK THEY ARE BETTER THEN YOU WHEN THE TRUTH IS THEIR ALL FREAKS THAT WILL NEVER MAKE IT IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO TALENT AT THIS SCHOOL WHEN I HEARD PEOPLE SING I COULDNT HELP BUT LAUGH… THE STUDENTS ARE ALSO EXTREMELY JELOUS SO IF THEY THINK YOU ARE A THREAT YOU WONT HEAR THE END OF IT FROM THEM AND THEY WILL MAKE FUN OF YOU. I CAN GO ON AND ON ABOUT HOW BAD THIS SCHOOL IS THE FOOD IS UNEDIBLE AND UNHEALTHY. IF YOU LOVE TO SIT IN YOUR ROOM ALL DAY LONG AND NOT HAVE 1 FRIEND THEN I GUESS THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU… DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE PROFESSORS NONE OF THEM ARE UP TO DATE ON ANY MATERIAL FOR EXAMPLE IN THE MUSIC CLASSES ALL YOU LEARN ABOUT IS MUSIC FROM THE 1800'S OR BEFORE THAT ERA BECAUSE THAT IS ALL THEY KNOW. TRUST ME ON THIS ONE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY I CAN GARUNTEE YOU WONT BE SUCCESFULL COMING OUT OF FIVE TOWNS COLLEGE

Is this really true

Many of this is over exaggerated and falsified. Students are students, and some act like prima donnas, but that's the world of music and theatre. The student's who are poor at singing either may not be vocal majors, or if they are, they likely won't graduate due to failing private instruction and juried exams. And learning about music from the 1800s? Pretty common to learn about the classical era as a musician, and the Jazz portions are from the early 1900s.
