There is so much to say about jacksonville university none of it being positive. The food at this school is awful. Id rather eat Mcdonalds the rest of my life then have one more dinner at this school. Oak looks nice but something is always broken elevators, no hot water, and no power are weekly occurances. Our school gym had two bench bars at the beginning of the year and both broke two weeks after school started. We didn't have a bench bar for 5 months and just recently got two new ones. The meal plan at JU is ablsolutely fucked. You can only eat on oncertain hours during the day. On weekends the cafe closes at 6, and on rare days when the cafe makes something good to eat, the supply quickly runs out. Don't even get me started on the night life. Seriously you have your choice of Rain and Soho on a wednesday night. Rain on a good night, there might be thirty people. The Frat and Sororities are an absolute joke. There are no houses. The area around the school is dangerous and gross. I know of multiple people who have been at gun point and robbed right in frontof our school. We have two emergency boxes throughout the campus. You see the same people everyday. Days feel like months. Are athletic teams are pretty much joke. Have you ever seen a trailer park? well thats what are athletic field houses look like. The gym where our atheletes workout is the size of a family room also located in a trailer. The practices field are a mud pit. We can't afford anything. This school year is the worst experience one could ever be here. I wish I tried harder in high school so I wouldnt have to come here. Please you still have a chance. Say no to Jacksonville University. I once was a kid who loved to go out and have a great time. But not Anymore, not after being here.Seriously this school has ruined myfucking life. High school should not be the time of yourlife. Jacksonville Univeristy is a fucking shithole. My life has become fucked since I have been here. I want my freshman year back. Fuck JU
