College is a place to party, experiment, girls girls girls, and make life long friends, maybe even to get an education and have a career. Not at JU. After long hours of studying and classes you hit thursday night and there is nothing to do so you sit in your dorm room and do absolutely NOTHING. I have been here an entire year and I can say from experience. Being an athlete you think you got it made. One party and no girls. We like to refer to them as MUTS. This school might have the worst looking girls in the country. All of the high school losers that were nobody's ended up here so if you are coming here prepare to put on your JU goggles and lower your standards. If that doesn't phase you might I add the FOOD. I am not a picky eater but I have eaten about two things at JU cardboard pizza and stale breaded aged meat subs that are served by the sketchy cafeteria staff. If you still don't get the point there is OAK. Let me begin. NO HOT WATER on the coldest days of the year. Constant elevator breakdowns at one point (me living on the fifth floor) there were no elevators!! Electricity is as likely as meeting a hot girl here. We have no facilities if you are a red neck from western alabama you might fit in. If you are lucky enough to go out it is on Wednesday night I promise you Im not lying or exaggerating two clubs SOHO and RAIN you might get AIDS… Or dance with one of the 30 people in the club. There are shootings and muggings daily I know of two people robbed at Gun point outside the university side walk literally. Make the right choice please DONT COME HERE it blows!!!! I define a good night as sitting in the room with four friends and having a few drinks usually broken up by the Ass hole RA's that look and thrive on getting people caught. Athletics is a joke. This is the worst place I can imagine to be!! If you want some hard facts, %80 percent of the freshmen class transfers by the next year. $34,000 to pay for depression. Prison could be a better option NO JOKE. Save your self don't make my same mistake Im begging you if you are reading this withdraw your application and go to FSU or UCF or UNF if you want to go to Florida so bad. I warned you!! Fuck JU!
