I had a memorable 4 years here at Rutgers NB.

Packed with everything from fun and corny community building, to endless nights of procrastination, all-nighters, obsessive study groups, wild football games, studying at the library for 6 hours at a time, the monotonous yet addictive cafeteria food, parties and bars, the anxiety-filled attacks of college life, late-night visits to the grease trucks, getting yelled at by the RA, as well as being the yelling RA, and meeting some of the most incredible as well as some of the most intellectually challenged individuals.

Great faculty and staff, always approachable. Challenging classes, education, and overall requirements. RU has its cons of course, but nothing that its positive factors couldn't win over. The bureaucracy can get to you sometimes, and they're quite disorganized. So just be on top of your stuff at all times.

Location: New Brunswick = more of the bustling city type, with a short train ride to NYC, parking is a headache. Piscataway = quieter suburbia, safer, and car friendly

Theatres, nightlife, decent bars and restaurants, surrounding cities in the county have hidden gems worth discovering. Being from the city (New York City) I loved it. It was a refreshing change of scenery, there's actual scenery here, grass and trees! It's a fun college in the sense that there is always something going on. There are snobs, elitists, dumb butts, perfectionists, jocks, etc. at EVERY college. Pick your crowd/friends and love em. I was impressed to have found cliques of extremely bright intellectuals as well as politically active people here.

Every time I go back and visit New Brunswick, I get overwhelmed by that cozy sensation that warms my heart. Ah yes… home. Makes wearing this $60 Rutgers hoodie right now priceless.
