They're treated as such too. Most likely you'll be the token black kid that the teacher either doesn't want to call on, or repeatedly calls on. I loved my major and coursework etc. and for that…academically, Stonehill has satisfied me. But everyone knows that it's more than that. Administration basically doesn't want you to have fun. They've implemented a whole bunch of new rules to make it so hard for you to even have a party on campus which makes they're job much easier. They kill your fun buzz. Weekends are often quiet. if you do throw a spontaneous party, you'll get in trouble for it… BUT you'll have fun at the party 'cause everyone will be there. Thirsty for some shaking. The campus is closed on weekends so you'll have to be signed in but most of us, left campus to party at neighboring schools and brought the party back. We HAD to, we were forced to socialize with only eachother. Career services is so helpful—guarantee to get you a job upon graduation. Community service opportunities are vast. We loved to help out folks. Service trips abroad, local stuff and more. So in a nutshell, if you're looking to go crazy and get drunk every weekend and show up to class and still pass, then maybe this isn't for you. If you're looking to challenge authority and prove yourself in class and make prominent contacts while making your own fun, then welcome.
