Major: Political Science (This Major's Salary over time)
I am currently a senior at Hamilton, and am double major in world politics and communications. I have been a member of the varsity rowing team for three years, and have been on the student assembly for each of my four years at Hamilton. One of the things I have enjoyed the most about Hamilton is the ability to get involved in many different activities and to try lots of different things throughout your time on the hill. This idea applies to both academics and extracurricular activities and is encouraged in all aspects of life at Hamilton. Through the open curriculum academic advisors have encouraged me to try new areas of study, and to push myself outside of my comfort zone with class selection. The open curriculum has also allowed me to double major and also spend a semester abroad without worrying about fulfilling requirements in time to graduate. In addition to the freedom that Hamilton allows, I have also greatly enjoyed getting to know my professors on a personal level. The warmth that all members of the community have showed is indicative of the mentality of everyone on the campus. The people on campus are truly what make the Hamilton experience what it is and what has made this a great place to learn for the past four years.
