What to say about OU… I loved it… Yes, there's not many cities near by however its surrounded by a beautiful natural setting. I guess if malls are what you are looking for OU is not for you as there is no mall. The hocking hills are near by and they are a great day or weekend trip. Yes, there is quite a lot of drinking as there are somewhere around 20 bars in Athens, but I managed to drink, have fun, and graduate with a great degree which has given me a great amount of success. I loved Athens. The weather was perfect. Snow in the winter, warm in the summer and a beautiful fall and spring. Everyone is very friendly whether you are greek or not. The dorms are not the greatest but why should they be? Off campus housing isn't the best but you just have to be more selective. There are many choices. I loved OU but I know it's not for everyone (only the laid back, want to have fun while having a great time with a great group of people)
