Frankly, I came here because I didn't do well in SAT and couldn't get into any other universities. Before even I joined, I knew the university is low and has a bad reputation everywhere you go in the area. I knew people with degrees from fmu sitting at home because they got tired of applying for jobs. But, since no other schools accepted me, I decided to give a try to fmu. Also, since there isn't much competition for fmu, they offered me scholarships to cover almost 60% of my tuition. However, I can tell you, this place is a lot worse than anyone can imagine; it is dead and getting worse by the day. The percentage of the negative posts here is a testimony of such a fact, which is driving the administration crazy and now, they started to post here as well, just to keep the damage under control. I don't blame them but, instead of doing that, they should fix the university, hire the right professors, take care of the students they have already; not spend hundreds of thousands of dollars in advertising. Because with advertising too much, you are going to bring students but, it wouldn't take very long before they leave you to go somewhere else. This is very much the case at fmu!!! I don't even know the percentage of students who make it to the second year but I think it is extremely low. Another problem with this university, they hide facts about everything. Even the information you receive from the admission's office, is fabricated. My 2 cents!
