LOOOOOOOL! You must be kidding?

First off, the student who wrote this review is completely biased against the school. He rated just about everything from Ed. quality to Extracurricular an 'F'. Obviously there is no way that is possible - Why would there still be so many students there? Why do the faculty keep applying for tenure? why is it one of the largest schools in the state?

?Parking? - yes there is a parking issue but most of the students easily find a way around it by parking at the train station across the street or East campus parking. Obviously if the student is stubborn and doesn?t want any parking except the spot right in front of their scheduled class - they will have to wait ? - and wait. People have to get use to the fact that the school is growing, Kean provides a buses to east campus to parking!!

?Class keep getting cut? ? Huh?—This makes absolutely no sense. Think about it, if the school cuts classes and the students cant schedule in credits… how will the school benefit?? Also, there are more and more profs. are getting tenured yearly. Ohh right? I guess the university pays them to sit around and do nothing. I know for a fact that if there are too many students and don?t have enough seats to keep the student teacher ratio low, each individual departments makes sign up sheets to open new classes. I was in a class one time with only 10 people—only 10!!! I don?t know which class cuts your talking about but it hasn?t happened to me.

?Most of the teachers are Morons? ? Wow dude, have some respect. Now I see why you feel you haven?t been taught anything. You?re a 3rd year so my understanding is you are still in undergrad which means you don?t even have a bachelor?s degree yet. Given that most of the teachers are PhDs, you have some nerve to call them morons. Most of the profs have good standing in research/work of their field of interest, be it cancer research or involvement in 42nd street theatrical plays. Go to the website and look at the professors bios.

?Tuition? - still relativity low for NJ schools. If you really feel that its way too much, there are scholarships you can apply for and students can now even get full rides directly through the school. Dr. Farahi did a great job getting scholarships funding - check out the Kean foundation scholarship website. Ohhh yeah one thing, Its based on merit so?. if your the pessimistic underachiever that likes to complain—well then I guess Kean then is expensive as would be any school for that person. You should seriously reconsider your enrollment .

?No value added to the Student Experience? ? that is absurd. What about the all the buildings, Student Org. programs, and research opportunities - all this is for the students. Recently student org. hosted Ludacris, David Cook, Rick Ross, Katt Williams, etc. etc. etc. ?Oh yea ? I guess that?s not for the students.?

?Barely any online courses? /?Gollege?? People need to stop saying things without and reasoning. Go to Keanwise website please!! They even have new program on the Kean website called black board. There are plenty of intro/intermediate level online courses that you can take. Of course you can?t take all you courses online, Kean is not an online university - its not a gollege as you put it. Maybe you should transfer out to a gollege and take your online courses there.

?Bookstore is overpriced? ? Its barnes and noble, they can charge what they like. You don?t like it, don?t shop there. Everyone knows that the book store is a last minute resort, that?s why students use Amazon.com Want the Kean cloths - shop at the online at the Keangear website. There are plenty of ways to get stuff done, that is if you stop complaining and start looking to solutions.

All in all ? its unfortunate that some people try to blame Kean for issues that have no legitimate reasoning. Kean has developed tremendously over the past few years however its still susceptible to malicious propaganda. Yes there are parking issue- but there are alternatives. Yes tuition has gone up but its still one of the lowest in the state and it does benefit the students. Again, if Kean was such a horrendous school why are there so many students? Delinquent students need to stop justifying their inadequacy by blaming the school. If you work hard at Kean you can achieve you goals. Search the website for alumni listings to see what students have done with their degree. Something tells me that those students were busy studying rather than nitpicking after how the school doesn?t fulfill their perception of a university utopia.
