I AM WARNING YOU, DO NOT GO TO SJSU!!!!!!!!!!!! ok, so i am freshman at sjsu and could not be more excited to transfer this fall!!! this school has no spirit, it's a small disgusting run-down campus, IT IS A HUGE COMMUTER SCHOOL and NOBODY wants to be here!! if u want a real college experience, DO NOT go here!! this school hates white people and i feel that there is very little social life on campus. As far as academics go, you don't have to work extremely hard in a class to pass. Just go to office hours or talk to a professor after class and pretend like you "care." Now about the surrounding city!! yay!! San jose is kind of a dump, actually its really a dump, but there are some nice places to eat, a nice movie theater, and you can go up to san francisco on the weekend which is fun!! Living in the suites may seem nice, but when your toilet constantly gets clogged and overflows and when your shower wont drain properly and the dirty shower water leaks all over your carpet, it is not fun. But other than that, the suites are pretty nice to live in. As far as parties go, i have had some fun at apartment and frat parties, but they really aren't that great here. The food is pretty good, but the overall vibe of the students at this school is very negative. And btw, the dance department sucks!!! I have met some cool people here, but overall, I can not wait to leave SJSU!!! so take my advice and DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!
