I was undecided between Vassar, Wesleyan, Tufts and Hamilton. I love my sports and academics. I was very nervous about Vassar, because of some weird reviews, but in the end it was the best place I could be at; to figure out what I wanted to do, I have really enjoyed meeting new people from all over the country and world!Vassar is not a cookie cutter frat University. I really feel like it opened the door from my small town in CT, where everyone seemed to be the same. There is always something to do, and sometimes too much to choose from. I feel I have had, research opportunities I would have never had at other colleges even at the Ivy leagues. I like the pass/fail classes, they give you a chance to try classes you would never try, it lets you go outside the box. I met great friends, probably for the rest of my life. I feel like I will be extremely prepared for grad school. I am an athlete and adore my coaches and teammates and their support of my academics, which I never felt when I was looking at D1 schools. But college is what you make it, and you need to be open and aware. I made an effort to befriend people I never would in high school. I am much less rigid than I was in High School About the those strange people I was afraid of, there turned out to be a few, but always interesting!
