I loved MSU and all it had to offer. The ups and downs East Lansing provides have very much so made me the person I am today. The people are generally nice, but can be a little "fratty" or preppy, and therefore assholeish, but its a campus with 50,000 students on it, so if someone is not to your liking, there is always someone else. East Lansing's culture is amazing, and being involved at a Big Ten University that is not 100% arrogant is awesome. There is a culture of modesty and hard work that typifies the state of Michigan, very much unlike that of the school in Ann Arbor, which calls itself the Harvard of the midwest. The academics will challenge, but you will have plenty of time to enjoy yourself and make memories. Overall I wouldn't trade my Michigan State experience for the world.
