After living about 40 minutes away from Williamsport, in high school I always believed Penn Tech was kind of a joke. It was for anyone who wanted to go to college. I went to a Public university downstate right out of high school. I did not enjoy the education I was receiving there. To be closer to home, I decided to transfer to Penn Tech. After getting there, I have believed that most of my teachers were very helpful. The coursework is sometimes a lot easier than I expected but I do believe I am learning a lot. Professors such as Luke in the business department and henry in the math dept. were very helpful. You will not like all your professors but none of them were that bad. Williamsport does have crime and is sometimes a boring area but I dont think Penn tech is as bad as people on here are saying it is. I did live off campus and did not eat the meals on campus but I have enjoyed my time there after getting my social life and partying done before I transferred there
