Major: Math (This Major's Salary over time)
My experience at Azusa Pacific was an amazing one. When you begin to delve into the Azusa community, you will be surprised by the great assets of the small, rather poor city. You are going to get out of the APU experience whatever you are willing to put into it. It is not difficult to develop relationships or become involved in some school-wide activity. Class sizes are incomparable to any state school… I even had a class once that had six students!! If you want to go out, that isn't difficult either. It is close enough to places like Pasadena and LA, so you can enjoy a little night life, but you are still far enough away to avoid the horrific traffic that plagues the inner city. All in all, I met my best friends and my husband at Azusa Pacific University. Every single one of my teachers acted as a mentor and prepared me for my career as a math teacher. I loved the area and miss Legends, The Hat, Donut Man, and Montanas! No matter which college you choose, it is up to you to make the most of the opportunities that university offers. You can build or destroy your character at any college, grow or drain your spiritual life, build friendship or hide from them… its always up to you and what you're willing to put into it.
