 Hi, I just wanted to point out that Long Island overall isn't that bad, and there are many good schools on Long Island that are fun and the students are mostly cool.This school, however, for some reason attracts the jappiest, trashiest people from the Island and all over who have their clique and that's all they need. I went from Fall 2013 - Spring 2014.I actually met or re-met some good people in the fall, and all of my professors were great.In the spring, some of those good people just turned out bad or worse, and my professors hardly cared about me or doing their jobs correctly.I hated it there, and I really wanted to like it. But I am glad I'm out. |

Major: Undecided (This Major's Salary over time)
I was very opened minded to come to this school but after a few weeks a realized I had made one of the biggest mistakes of my life. The problem is not much of the classes but of the faculty and students. I did not believe the stereotypes of the people from long island but now I do, very arrogant, self absorbed jerks. No one will say hi to you maybe one person every couple weeks. If you dorm be prepared to stay up until 5 or 6 in the morning because RA's don't care and the constant bass of terrible music wont let you and the annoying kids yelling all night who will never be considerate of you. I know this is collage but it feels like prison. I would recommend anyone not from this area never to come to this school.
