Franciscan University is an excellent institution. Academically, it is ranked in the top-tier of schools in the Midwest. My major in linguistics was taught by experts and authors of well-selling books. Despite the advanced professors, they were ALL very personable and willing to meet with me outside of classes. The Career Services Office is EXCELLENT. They helped me with personality assessments, career guidance, interview skills, etc. The administration is extremely professional and friendly. The cost of this school is well below the average private colleges, and I certainly got my money's worth. I cannot imagine going through life without my Franciscan University education. Dorm life was exciting and fun. The dorms are clean and well maintained, the food is great, and there is plenty to do for fun. The area is going through a rough time economically, but the University is bringing lots of business to the area, which is steadily improving. It's safe, friendly, and a brilliant place to go!!!!
