I knew when I first saw the Marymount campus that I wanted to attend Marymount, simply because it was a small school, and I did not want to attend a big, state school. I'm a commuter, so I'll admit that my social life at Marymount is almost non-existent. However, the university itself is situated in the DC metro area which gives everyone access to DC life. The professors at Marymount are a mixture of helpful and unhelpful. If you want a good professor, ask around to other students (the nice students) and figure out which professors for which subjects to take. As for the students, some are complete snobs and high maintenance, while others (the rare ones) are kind, sweet and helpful. But, trust me, you'll be able to figure out which students are which. Marymount helps a lot with finding internships and fixing your resume and offering career advice for after your leave. Also, they do mock interviews with the students in the Career and Internship Center to help prepare students for the real world. All in all, Marymount is a good school for some, and a bad school for others. But, then again, all schools are good for some and bad for others.
