DO NOT waste your time or money going to this school. I was one of those kids that read these reviews before going to the school thinking that it couldn't be that bad. Trust when I say, EVERY single review is true. Im currently a student at NYIT, second semester, and its not the best school to be at. Unless your major is with medicine, engineering, or architecture, then it might be ok for you. Other than that, DONT DO IT.

Most of the teachers arent from this country, so you cant understand what theyre saying and they dont know what theyre talking about.

The shuttle buses run when they want to, even tho theyre supposed to be on a schedule. Especially the one to and from ed hall (worst timing EVER). I once got to class almost 2 hours late because of the buses.

Most of the students are indians that keep to themselves and its full of nerdy guys and slutty girls (not all, but a lot) and theres no social life since most of the people commute. They go to school then go home.

The dorm life is ridiculous. The dorms are small, although I like that theyre are suite styled dorms with their own bathrooms. Theres absolutely NOTHING to do at the dorms and theres nothing around campus to do. Unless you have a car, youre going to be very bored in those dorms.

Also the activities that they claim to have, nobody does them so its not having activities at all.

They only have like 6 sports teams and nobody even knows about them. Our teams arent good enough to go anywhere and the school doesnt even tell us about the games. We also dont have a football team so we have no homecoming either.

Overall, if you want the WHOLE college experience, DONT go to this school. ANd if you want to save yur money, DONT go here.
