I feel like Hamilton has changed a lot. Whenever I brine up Hamilton to non-Hamltonions I always get the "but it's so conservative there" and "isn't it just full of rich white kids?" I feel like Hamilton is misrepresented and its OLD reputation needs to be discarded. Hamilton is a very liberal college now with many different types of people. Yes Hamilton may not be the MOST diverse place, but in the past four years that I've been here, I've seen diversity in ethnicity/race just skyrocket. What Hamilton does provide is a diverse range of personalities. You can find your niche here. There are SO many different people interested in different things. From the preppy sorority girl to the boy who wears nurse scrubs every day, to the guy who carries around his books in a wheelbarrow to the science center dweller. There are so many weird and awesome people here. The stereotype about Hamilton, OLD Hamilton needs to change.
