NC A&T is an okay school, but it is geared mostly for students who have been in North Carolina their whole lives. Regardless of their grades or initiative they receive all the financial aid and if you did not grow up with people who go there you will be lonely for a long time. Professors are hard to get in contact with. Many ignore your emails and give you the run around for recommendations and such. If you are awarded federal work study you will be mistreated by your "supervisor" and then by the head over work study if you report it. They do not try to give you financial aid and you will only frustrate yourself trying to convince them to give it to you. The faculty all have the worse attitudes.. besides the professors. They seem to only care about getting paid. The UNST professors think they can do whatever they want and I even had one try to take 10 points off my final grade because I walked out of class after she told the class if we did not want to review in class that day we could sign the roll and leave. Another UNST professor only showed up when he felt like it. A&T definitely lives up to the stereotypes of black colleges.
