Carolina State, founded in 1887, is a public, comprehensive university.
Programs are offered through the Colleges of Agriculture & Life
Sciences, Education & Psychology, Engineering, Humanities & Social Science, Management,
Natural Resources, Physical & Mathematical Science, Textiles, and Veterinary Medicine,
and the School of Design. Its 1,600-acre campus is located
