I transferred into Lipscomb's adult degree program (ADP) to finish my bachelors degree. I found the faculty to be friendly and helpful, and they took a real interest in my education. One professor spent long hours answering countless email questions about one of my non-major subjects. Another met with me on a Sunday afternoon to discuss some issues I was facing with a group project. Several have given me excellent recommendations that enabled me to obtain scholarships, a good first job, and admission to a graduate school. During my last semester, I had an opportunity to work on a fascinating research project as an independent study course. And when I had a hard time finding a timely internship, Lipscomb facutly were flexible and worked with me so I could graduate on time.

Because I attended only evening classes, I had limited interaction with the general student body; however, I found my colleagues in the ADP to be pleasant and approachable. I made some wonderful friends during my two years at Lipscomb.

Overall, my experience at Lipscomb was VERY positive. It is a place where you can get an excellent education if that is what you want, but it probably wont be handed to you. It is there for those who put forth an effort to obtain the best out their Lipscomb experience.
