If you are looking at the school drop it and begin to look elsewhere. The University itself is decent for academics however It's social life has as much going for it as a guy surrounded by great whites. The people here are like people anywhere else nice, mean and in-between. The lure of the university is it's aesthetics, surf and girls. No legit that's pretty much all it has. Don't believe me go to the website.

SRU also has zero activity events worth going to once you get past the first week of freshman year. The food is bad but not as bad as it used to be so for that good job Salve, I'm sure it took allot out of you to actually improve something.

This is a good school if you can handle being bored. The school will have no fun for kids. Salve ignorantly believes that kids are content with creating fun for themselves while spending 43k a year. Do yourself a favor and go to a school with more funding and that is not cheap to spend money on it's students.

One of the only good things this school has going for it is smaller classrooms and very nice teachers. That being said treat your college searching experience like a business and pick something that will yield profitability for yourself.

Ultimately it is your choice whether you attend SRU. I strongly suggest you do not. Unless of course you seek girls, a pretty campus with crappy weather(rains every week almost) and nice teachers, and an old school religious affiliation that is unwilling to change it's old dead ways and unwilling to listen to the students trying to help them change for the better. To them you are a number and that number is money. Tat them the same way!
