Major: Psychology (This Major's Salary over time)
I have so many things I would like to say about this school that I would end up writing pages if I said them all. Bottom line:

1. overpopulated campus

2. pretty crappy, tiny dorms, with work orders that take 6 months to NEVER to be filled (my sister had no hot water for half a semester, and I had a burst-pipe flood that could have been prevented, and after the flood there was no follow up AT ALL from the school as to the condition of the apartment or personal belongings)

3. Nightmarish administration (will direct you to another office until you are on a hunt for 2 hours to get what you need) (They constantly act annoyed and nasty)(Will first acknowledge you with a blank, nasty stare) ETC ETC ETC

4. Professors, for the most part, are nothing above average quality

5. Professors are largely unapproachable because of school/class sizes

6. Not diverse if it's 70% Asian!!! Extremely segregated population

There are a few decent things about Stony Brook, but nothing worth mentioning. You could have a better experience at ANY OTHER school, PLEASE do not come to this "you're just a number" nightmare of a school! Please, for your own sake! Biggest mistake of my life!
