Major: Art & Design Department (This Major's Salary over time)
Salem State College (rather, University) did not hold up to my expectations, and they were somewhat low to begin with. Signing up for classes is an absolute nightmare. I was a graphic design major and within the first two days of registration being opened the art classes were all taken up. If you're commuting you have a whole slew of terrible problems with finding a parking space and trying to drive through the terrible traffic. The weekends are pretty dead, and not much socializing happens when you're a commuter, putting a huge damper on the college experience. The buldings are spaced oddly, so you find yourself constantly booking it to different classes that are far apart. The education factor itself varies from very well organized to dreadful. I did not have a good experience and I'm glad I transferred. Don't go to SSU.
