Are you a high school or transfer student that is thinking of attending a four or two year institution with the hopes of getting into a great college where you can make wonderful friends be challenged in your course work and get professors that will actually care and help you to do well? If you are DO NOT attend Morrisville State College. As a freshman the worst possible thing I could have done was turn down 9 other great colleges to come here. Where should I begin? The campus is really much smaller than I thought it would be The nearby town has three stores…That is it! Students party and drink every single day to avoid falling into a deep depression Although the food is mediocre it is not worth eating every day seven days a week. The halls in the pond quad are just pure disgusting! Professors are not helpful and act as if they do not want you to succeed even if you try to set up meetings with them The extra curricular activities are okay but nothing quite exciting all the groups on campus mostly worry about which group can throw the most parties There are two social groups the ghetto African Americans and the popping pills every weekend Caucasian students If you do not fit into one of these two groups your social life will be non existing The only good thing about this horrible place is the security the university police is always patrolling around campus (because they do not have anything better to do) but yet they still however they always miss the students that are always intoxicated or high If you plan on nursing,liberal arts, individual studies whatever it may be do not come here there is a reason why very few people have heard of Morrisville it should not be considered a place for high learning Do not waste your time on a application you will automatically get in do not choose to waste your money on this hellhole.
