The technology at this school is TERRIBLE. The internet often loses connection, the server constantly crashes, and the "wireless" printers rarely connect to the laptops, so you have to plug into the ethernet cord. For an "institute of technology", I would think that technology should be the one flawless, or at least functioning, part of the school.

The cafeteria food is pretty much un-eatable, and the staff in the cafeteria is rude. They will nickel and dime you for everything. Some of the dorms are nice, but they all have their share of issues.

The majority of the professor have unrealistic expectations from their students. They expect your school work to become you entire life; no time for other outside activities.

There are some really great students and professors here. The professors that are good will go out of their way to help students. Some students are nice, friendly, helpful, etc. However, the majority of the students are arrogant, selfish, condescending, egotistical, and self-centered.

The students think that they are most important, so they will do anything to other to make themselves look better or get ahead in their project/school work. They are there for themselves, and everyone else comes second to them. The majority of the students are also two-faced, in the fact that they will say one thing one moment then say something else minutes later. A lot of them seem like they are stuck in high school, with the cliques and rumors.

The co-op/internship program is a good idea, but the school does not do as much as they claim to when it comes to finding a co-op. The career service center will at most give you a list of some companies that students have worked for in the past. Over my four years at WIT, I have had 4 co-op advisers, so that shows how long people like to stay here and how dedicated they are (not).

I have gotten a good education, although it was a very stressful experience. A lot of the ideas the school has are good in theory, but are not executed properly. If someone could step-up to figure that out, things might run a bit smoother.
