The library is not open as much as it should be. When you have an academic or personal problem, the administration pretends to help. However, the so called help doesn't have any substance. There isn't anything to do on weekends and most students go home. Take a good look at all of the students at freshman orientation because half of them will be gone by the second year. I went to Eastern believing that this was the beginning of the greatest time of my life, instead my experiences there were so negative that I don't know if I will ever fully recover. The school is full of students who really want to be at UConn. If this describes you, then suck it up and go to community college, get the best grades that you can and apply to UConn. UConn has so much more to offer and won't leave a negative scar that will haunt you the rest of your life.
