BJU was fantastic - Not many places can boast a quality education plus caring faculty who genuinely want you to succeed. It's not just a job for them.

Why is it that nearly EVERY positive review of this flaming college says the same bloody thing?

Not many colleges can boast a quality education plus faculty who genuinely want you to succeed? Look around, ma'am. There are WAY more colleges that can offer what you describe and do it better than BJU ever could. BJU, by its very nature, is only interested in producing legalistic Christian soldiers, turning out people who think, act, dress, walk, talk, and pray like them.

Staying away- FAR away- from BJU and urging others to do the same is not just a job for me. So… you could say I understand how you say the faculty at Bubba Jones feel about what they do.

You know, it is what it is. a place doesn't make you more spiritual. Your response that that review indicates you didn't even read the review. The review never mentioned that BJU helped them walk better with Christ. Basically, just that the faculty care about the students. Also, having personal experience with BJU - back in the 90's and also recently, i'd say that it is a completely different place now than then. Of course, it may still be "too legalistic" to some, but when i consider what was going on back then… wow. major changes. positive, actually. perfect? nope.
