Don't ever apply here, especially if you think this school would be a great safety school for you because this place SUCKS BIG TIME. There isn't a lot of variety of extracurriculars that this school has to offer. The atmosphere of this school doesn't seem to exume an air of intelligence and the spread of liberal ideas. Some people here don't really seem to care about learning or improving themselves. They also seem to be close-minded. If you are in a high school that offers the extension credits for this school, don't take them, because if you feel like transfering to a top tier university, there is a very good chance the school you wish to transfer to won't grant you transfer credits for those courses. Don't be decieved by the ''positive" things people say about this school; you will only regret believing them.
Responses
commentThere are a lot of activities and extracurricular activities, but it isn't really organized/promoted.

Since folks pay for tuition many do care about learning, but you are correct that it isn't really a better tier university for the price too, there isn't the serious discussion generally speaking.
