This is not a good school. I regret ever coming here. First of all nobody learns anything. Everyone gets by because there are huge curves or cheating the system by studying old tests. The professors are horrible and you have to teach yourself everything . I assumed it was like this at every university until I took summer classes at 3 different universities. I actually learned in those classrooms instead of wasting my time !

The school is super expensive for no reason. They have horrible freshman dorms. And slowly once you get on coop they take away your financial aid. Most people automatically get federal loans which they include in you're financial aid and work study. So you can think you're paying 15000 but you're actually paying 25000.

All the girls are conceited for no reason . The pretty ones arent usually though but nobody ever sees them because they have boyfriends or go to other schools. Most of them do not take care of themselves. There's only three sororities and the girls are not attractive. The parties are horrible but you don't know that until you goto another school and compare.

The students in this school never get to experience a real college experience because they don't even know what they're missing out on.

The school lies about all it's statistics. It's 88 in the country for engineering and try to find statistics that are not through Stevens that say it's a good school.

You get out of this school without experience, having learned and a lot of debt. Btw, I have a high gpa do I am not bitter for having failed or anything.

I just happen to be one of those smart normal people

It has a beautiful view and you will love it until you go to another college and see how bad it actually is. Of course, it's what you make of it. Good luck.

I'm sorry but…saying the girls "aren't attractive" isn't really a very good indicator of the quality of life at this school. You act like you've met all the girls on campus or something. I'm sorry but beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I happen to think lots of the women here are attractive. "They don't take care of themselves" Is also pretty mean to say. As a freshman girl at stevens I wanted to avoid male attention after having gotten enough of it. This leads to the "not taking care of yourself" - yes I can wear nice clothing and do make up every day but for who? I'm not trying to impress anyone here. I don't need to 'get with' guys from this school as it makes it a lot more awkward since it is so small. I just want to avoid all that drama. I'm just here to learn.

I'm not sure about you, but I have learned here. Except in chemistry which I hated but you're a chemical engineer so that is probably why we have such different view points. Yeah I have complaints about this school but I wouldn't be telling "no one to go here" because the education is bad. Report the cheating you see if it bothers you so much, and studying off of old exams isn't cheating because you won't do well on the exams if you just study from the old ones. You actually need to understand the material.

No one has lowered my "financial aid" package yet, which is just a scholarship. Anyone with a half a brain knows that federal grants and loans HAVE TO BE PAID BACK…If anyone tells you they thought they were going to be paying X amount because of Y loan, they are either an idiot of just griping for no reason.

The parties I've been to have always been fun. I also think that college parties are overrated. Should we really be trying our hardest to get fucked up before we even turn 21? Because thats what other college parties are all about.

The freshman dorms aren't horrible if you get Davis, and now freshman are even getting Jonas. Also they never lowered my financial aid because of Co Op (thats a load of bull) and I'm going to be making 20/hr at my next internship thanks to their awesome system. I dont know what causes such bitterness but I just hope you can change your opinion on the school. Or transfer. Don't waste your time here if you know it makes you unhappy. I was secon guessing the education during my first year but now I find it valuable.
