UK is horrible to its students. A lot of professors will just babble on about whatever they please in lecture and leave their TAs to actually teach the students in recitation. Professors are 9/10 very unhelpful, preferring to send you off to their TAs, a student resource like Writing Center, or just make you feel like you're an idiot for not understanding their material. If you're not an athlete, that is. Athletes get treated like GODS on this campus. Better dorms, easy classes, and lots of free stuff. What do the rest of us get? Dilapidated, disgusting, tiny dorms (of which there are not even enough of for even the freshman class!! upperclassmen can't get dorms unless they're RAs), horrible campus food, shitty teachers and faculty, underfunded programs (don't even think about coming here for anything art related), aaaaand zero shits given about any non-athletic student. Prepare to NO FUN, a ton of debt, a below average education, and a drinking problem if you come here.
