Major: Nursing (This Major's Salary over time)
I started out with high hopes, which were quickly dashed. I stayed in the honors dorm and found many to be very close-minded and arrogant. If you didn't follow their idea of organized religion and join their religious groups, you were classified in a negative way. I have always considered myself a spiritual person and was always actively involved in MANY community service projects in high school, but since I didn't believe exactly as they did…I was called an atheist!!!! I rarely ever received a response from my advisors when I emailed with questions. My parents were never contacted about activities…others were…especially if they were alumni. The cost is prohibitive. If I finish my nursing here, I will owe well over $70-80,000. (4 yrs) and that is with a 24,000 scholarship from them plus all the ones I received when I graduated. They talk about all of these activities they plan and few students attend. It is really a disappointment. I am thinking of going to a community college for my RN/BSN and will come out with 1/4 of the cost and an excellent education.
