I am a junior at Cal Lutheran and coming to this university was the best decision I ever made. I have been challeneged academically, preparing me for the real world and allowing me to expand my knowledge. I have also met the friends that will be in my life forever. People are so open minded and friendly. I have never felt pressured to do something or believe in something that I didn't want to do or believe in. Those who disagree were probably never involved or never took advantage of all the opportunities that the campus offered. If you get involved on this campus you can make things happen. You can start new clubs or make connections with people that will help you get ahead in life. I feel that I am not just a number at Cal Lutheran. My professors know me by name and they care about my success. The internship opportunities that I have been apart of have helped me to figure out my career path and given me insight into the industry that I am interested in. When employers hear that you are from Cal Lutheran, they consider you even more because they know our university has a respectable rep with smart and driven students. The small classes are great because your voice is actually heard and you can form connections with the professors and other students. It's also nice knowing that I am going to graduate in 4 years, which is very rare to hear now a days. The location of the university is perfect. Half way between Santa Barbara and LA! The beaches are so close, and the city isn't a far drive. The campus is so clean and I feel extremely safe. We also have the nicest dorms, they are huge and well taken care of. I am so proud to be from Cal Lutheran and I highly recommend considering this university in your college decision process!
