If you are being recruited for a sports team by this college, some words of advice, go somewhere else! My experience was awful here! The college doesn't have a lot of money so they hire very young immature coaches, who have no experience thus very unprofessional. The women's basketball coach, like all coaches will lie about your scholarship and play time. Don't think oh I can transfer if I don't like it either because that is extremely hard. Plus all of your "Brevard" classes won't transfer to other schools. Friends have transferred and lost as much as a year of credits! Once your here your stuck! Back to athletics, the AD has had numerous complaints specifically about the women's basketball coach from players, parents, and the community, but refuses to handle the situation. It's hard for coaches to get fired when they work for so cheap they are hard to replace. I would suggest talking to FORMER players, the current ones can't be honest for fear of retribution. Being on this team is like being back in 8th grade with the head cheerleader as your coach! It's all good if your in her click but watch out if your not! Yes click, pitting players against each other and starting rumors, it's middle school drama all over again! Talk to former players or parents, they ll have stories to tell!
