LC is a small school, so if you really want to make friends and get out there you have to become involved. That of which is relatively easy because there are so many clubs and activities to become a part of. People are super nice and friendly, and professors are always super willing to help you. The city of Lynchburg has its ups and downs but overall it isnt that bad. You have to keep in mind that Lynchburg is a college town (with LU and Randolph College also being in Lynchburg) but it is also residential. While some parts of Lynchburg are pretty rough looking it isnt all bad. LC really makes you feel at home and they put a lot of effort into making you feel apart of the community.
