Major: PreMed and Medical (This Major's Salary over time)
St. Johns is a perfect balance for me. Im a white girl from upstate who enjoys her social life but can be a bio major at the same time. St. johns is not for everyone though. Its the type of school where you make the best out of it. If you sit around and complain that theres no crazy parties you obviously dont know you can go out to the city which is about a half hour away enjoy your surroundings. Jamaica queens may not be the best neighborhood in queens but the surrounding neighborhoods are quite enjoyable once you explore them. If you take time to take advantage of all the free events st johns has to offer then you'll really like the school. If your nervous about meeting people i 100% guarantee that you'll meet your best friends here. Its so diverse that it wont be a problem finding friends just like you. The school has a bad rep for being "Ghetto" but im sorry you wont find a school anywhere in new york with out a little swag. As for the education part, being a science major is tough here as a majority of students here come for that. Classes are small so you get one one one time with your professors which is key is getting good grades.
