I am so happy I transferred out of this school. I would highly suggest that any prospective students/parents look at the retention and graduation rates for LC. A five year graduation rate of 50%? ! That is embarrassing and the college thinks it is totally acceptable. They do not seem to care about individual students which is pretty ridiculous considering the extremely small size.

I cannot think of any redeeming qualities. The dining options are horrendous- expect to gain weight because all of the food is unhealthy (unless you want to eat less than fresh salads every day) and the dining hall closes at 7pm.. the same time that many evening classes let out!!

Residential "life" (services) is a PAIN to deal with. They will nickel and dime you for absolutely anything they possibly can, and are extremely rude and unhelpful when something needs to be fixed or they make a mistake. The receptionist/secretary is a witch.

Classes are generally okay.. the professors are probably the best thing about the college, but certainly not anything to brag about. The other students are less than stellar…don't expect to be challenged.

Also, I would really consider your employment options after college because LC does NOT have a good reputation of helping students out or putting students in a good place to get a great job. So, so glad I got out while I still could. My current institution blows LC out of the water in every way. I would not recommend this school to ANYONE.
