ATTENTION ALL FRESHMEN: Kennesaw is NOT the school to attend! I am miserable here and I wish someone would have warned me. NO fun things to do. I'm in a sorority and every event we have is dry. I basically feel like I joined a youth group. Aside from there being no social life. If you live on campus you are forced into this 12 month rent agreement. YES, even if you are going home for the summer you will be forking out 1,200 for june and july's rent. Kennesaw definitely knows how to give you a run for your money! Also, if you aren't going to be considered a sophomore for your next year returning you are hit with a huge meal plan bill, just a little cheaper than freshman meal plan, even if you live on campus. I want to know exactly where is all this money going? We are supposively getting a football team this year in 2013. So maybe that will change the atmosphere around the school. On the weekends, don't expect to go to a bunch of parties and have something to drink, the Cobb County cops will bust it up so fast. If however, you are willing to risk getting caught, you have to basically tip-toe around in hopes you don't run into a road block. I have been through 5 in one semester. There is NO greek housing which is a major bummer. The campus is basically empty on the weekends. If you are a senior in high school at least choose West Georgia over Kennesaw, you will undoubtedly have more fun and have a real college experience.
