Major: Engineering Department (This Major's Salary over time)
I will break up this review into 2 parts—one being on the academics and the other on the campus life.

From working for a year as an electrical engineer, I can write that the engineering department academics are strong. I had a strong foundation as an electrical engineer to start working out of school. Many of my fellow coworkers never learned some of the things I learned during their undergrad education. This is a testament to the faculty background. Most worked in industry before teaching at Messiah. The professors actually encourage the students to work on real world projects with real world constraints.

About campus life, it can be boring on weekends. There are things to do in nearby Mechanicsburg or Harrisburg(about 10 miles away); however, you need a car to get there.

The chapels can be disappointing if you are from a more conservative style worship service. The music is almost always modern contemporary Christian music. Rarely are traditional hymns sung. This being said, if you truly want to have your faith grow, you need to get involved with a local church. The weekday chapels should not be your only Christian church experience during your time here and the faculty tell you this. Most of the staff can refer you to local congregations (and some will arrange transportation) so you can worship on Sundays more towards style/denomination of Christianity.

As a final note, college is what you make it. It does not have to be boring.
