I was excited to attend albany but im very disappointed in many things. The food in the dining hall isn't consistently good and even when its good its not excellent. Apparently Indian Quad ( where i live) has the best food which is sad cause the food isn't really that great. There isn't much variety. The campus center has lil restaurants but its not much variety there either and not all the places stay open late. The dining hall closes at 8 like what the hell and on the weekends you have to order out if you're hungry past like 10 but most of the time i just order out cause i'm tired of the same kinds of food. The dorms aren't fair to everyone…well in indian. Some dorms are new and renovated and look so nice others are old and this is dorms that are in the same building so i don't understand why you would update some and not all. One building has laundry rooms on each floor and the rest hae laundry rooms downstairs which is annoying because the dryer make it so hot down there and theres no windows. I'm still trying to figure out what my money is going towards actually lol. The atmosphere… eh. If you like people being loud outside your window at 2 am or cigarette smoke then its great.
