The academics here are great. The work is challenging but this school will probably get you where you want to go in life. Unfortunately for me this isn?t enough for me to stay here. The social life is awful, the tuition is outrageous and continues to rise every year, there?s no diversity, my student class is so incredibly stuck up and fake, and the football games are so early that no one ever goes. Oh and not to mention all the guys here have no respect for women and think they own the campus since the girl to guy ratio is 60% - 40%. I care about getting an education, but there are plenty of other places I can go to get a good education. That?s why I will be transferring to the University of Texas next semester. If you do not plan on going Greek than do not go here. Girls can go to frat parties but you hardly ever find out about them if you?re outside of the Greek bubble. Plus the frat party?s suck because they are all sooo crowded and you can never get a drink and they ALWAYS end up busted. If you?re not in a sorority, most girls who are won?t be friends with you. Many girls this year did not receive bids since joining a sorority has become so competitive at TCU so good luck. Everyone told me that I would love TCU but I guess they just assumed because I?m an attractive blonde whose family has money. If you?re down to earth and care about having the overall college experience, please save your money and go to a state school!
